About
This project stemmed from my pursuit of excellence in user experience design, marked by the successful completion of the Google Professional UX Certificate. Focused on a music venue, the project aimed to elevate user interactions within an app. My journey involved delving into the intricacies of user research, prototyping, and usability testing, all guided by the principles of Google's UX curriculum. Collaboration played a pivotal role as I engaged with diverse stakeholders, including musicians and potential app users. This holistic approach allowed me to not only showcase technical proficiency but also demonstrate a keen understanding of the nuanced needs and expectations within the music community.
Following the structured curriculum, the first part of the sprint was creating low fidelity wireframes. These were then tested with users to ensure an optimal user experience. Additionally, these wireframes were extremely helpful in pinpointing a user interface that would suit the target group.
Leveraging Figma as a powerful design tool, I translated the low fidelity wireframes into a visually compelling user interface. This involved refining the color schemes, typography, and interactive elements to bring the app to life. The high fidelity wireframes not only showcased the aesthetic aspects of the design but also served as a tangible tool for user testing.
