Knävlingagillet is a formal event in Lund targeted at professors, students and alumni. The traditions of the event date back to the 1960’s when it was founded as a part of Ystads Nation. My role as a designer was creating a coherent visual identity while working with a broad team that helped plan the event, including suppliers and event managers.
The design draws inspiration from the traditional colors of the organisation, blue and yellow, while keeping them sophisticated and reflecting the nature of the event. This project also included working with a broad variety of mediums, including printed content and social media content, as well as a medal and custom beer bottles.
This project helped me gain a lot of experience regarding collaborating in big projects. Working together with many collegues and having a lot of eyes on the project truly helped it grow.
I also got the opportunity to work with more traditional designs, bridging the gap between modern and traditional.
